I have been absolutely crazy about princess movies ever since I was little.
Especially from the movie "The Little Mermaid".
I always pretended to swim like a mermaid. Secretly, I had always wished I could be a mermaid.
Until I discovered 'Mermaiding' in the summer of 2019. That way, I was able to turn my dream into reality.
I first took an introductory mermaid swimming course at TODI and immediately got hooked.
I ordered my first real tail and dreamed of being able to convey the magic of mermaids to children.

This is also mainly because my main profession is kindergarten teacher. For me, this was a calling as well. Interacting with children, being able to teach them something, helping them progress, helping them discover their talents... is a passion I have cherished for a very long time. Naturally, I also want to let them experience that magic in my own classroom.

In January 2020, I completed the training to become a swimming instructor.
In February 2020, I also obtained my SSI Freedive Mermaid certification.
In June 2021, I finally obtained my SSI Model Mermaid certificate.
In 2024, I obtained my NELOS 1* diving certificate.
In the summer of 2025, I obtained my SSI Instructor certification.
And now, in 2025-2026, I am working on obtaining my NELOS 2* diving certificate.

I myself am also a proud mom of two beautiful sons. They, too, inherited their mom's enthusiasm and imagination.

The idea that I wanted to teach mermaid swimming to children was born quite quickly. In addition, I would also like to help transform children's parties or events into a magical day that they will never forget.
